We visited the restaurant without a reservation, but the host, a very polite and friendly young man from Nepal, accommodated us quickly, finding us a table in just 4 minutes! The service overall was excellent—courteous and welcoming. He also helped us choose the wine and the shrimp, and his recommendations were truly spot on! The shrimp we ordered were delicious, the salad was fresh and well-balanced, and the paella, while basic, was tasty. It’s not quite like the ones in Spain, but it’s definitely a good choice. The wine he suggested was absolutely fantastic—one of the highlights of the evening!Overall, a lovely place for a meal that is definitely worth a visit. Well done!

Excellent restaurant. Very friendly gentlemen at the door who explained the menu to us while we were waiting for our table. He took the time to explain how each of the fish dishes were made and explained the long history of the restaurant. The cod was delicious and we enjoyed an excellent bottle of white wine.Good service and great value for money.Highly recommend you reserve a table online as the restaurant is small and in high demand!

Fantastic food! We stumbled upon this place while passing by and were drawn in by the menu. It’s easy to overlook from the outside, but definitely worth a visit. The interior is very small, but we had no trouble getting a table around 5:30 PM.Service was warm and attentive—staff checked in to make sure we were happy with everything. The seafood rice was hearty and packed with flavor, featuring clams, shrimp, and more. The garlic shrimp was just as delicious. As a nice touch, they offered us a ginja on the house at the end of our meal when we paid the bill. We had a great time and I’d gladly return on my next visit to Lisbon!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST SEAFOOD RICE I HAVE EATEN OVER MY 9 DAY HOLIDAY HERE!I have been to Porto, Lagos, Faro and Lisbon and this is the most delicious seafood rice I ever had. Grilled fish was also absolutely tasty, service was superb with complimentary shots on the house and location is near Rossio metro station.Highly recommended for a good dinner! Be sure to come around 6pm or the restaurant will be packed by then as it does not have many seats.

Tiny restaurant with great food and service. Short menu so the choice is easier :) We ordered excellent mussels and shrimps for starters - strongly recommended; accompanied by order of local cheese and olives. For main course - grilled octopus and rice with octopus and shrimps. Tried their mango mousse - delicious. Restaurant has extremely nice and accommodating staff, plus the music makes it so climatic. Much recommended out off many average restaurants in thus area

A small restaurant in the tourist area but defo worth trying! Only around 10 tables and you can try the Portuguese paella which is not that dry as Spanish one and we love it so much! Really love the sauce and the portion is alright to feed 2 and then we also ordered a garlic shrimp which is very fresh and delicious! They also treated us a drink when we were getting the bill!

I had an amazing dining experience at this Portuguese restaurant! The food was authentic and full of flavor, with each dish beautifully presented. The service was impeccable—attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. Prices were reasonable given the quality of the food and experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy excellent Portuguese cuisine!
